At co-op, I am learning how to crotchet. It is a lot of fun! Three weeks ago, I crocheted a pony-tail. And a week ago, I started on a dish cloth. I’m still finishing it right now.

I recently got new glasses! I love them. They are purple, my favorite color. My aunt loves purple, and wants to steal mine.  =)

This summer we went to our grandparent’s house. We had a wonderful time. We went shopping with our grandmother. We bought clothes, shoes, toys and more. We also went on our grandfather’s boat. I drove the boat. It was a lot of fun. The wind felt very cool on my face. We had a great time.

We also went to New Mexico this summer. We played lots  of games. Some of my favorite times were playing with family, hiking, drama night, and getting to see everyone. I can’t wait until we go back. We performed a drama on “drama night” with our family. I was Moses. I had to wear gray hair and I  looked a little funny. We also had a campfire, with s’mores and singing. It was very peaceful.

This summer Daddy got to stay home. We did a lot in the summer. We played Frisbee in the field. On our Mom’s birthday, we went roller skating. We all learned how to skate, except Bradley. We played games and watched some movies. One of the DVD’s we watched was Tim Hawkins. He is a very funny comedian. We also enjoyed seeing him at my grandparents house, too.

We went to the corn maize on Tuesday. It was fun. They had a corn popper; it was shaped like a huge pillow. It was hard to walk on it without falling, but it was a lot of fun.

We went in a corn maze. If you went inside of an airplane, you could see how they shaped it. A worker there showed us a picture of what it looked like. It was shaped like a farmer on a tractor. I liked answering the questions at the different posts to help us get out.

We also fed six goats. We went on a hay ride and picked out a pumpkin. Faith, Benjamin,and Bradley went on the barrel ride. Some friends from church came with us too. We had a great time at the corn maize.

Today we are going to Clay Casa and the movies! At Clay Casa you make clay bowls or other things. We are going to see Space Chimps at the movies and Make-A- Wish provides all of it!

Yesterday a tornado struck downtown. There was also a tornado warning on our part of town. A Whataburger’s roof was even blown off! We are thankful we didn’t get hurt. We all stayed in the restroom for over an hour during the warning.

I hurt my knee yesterday. When I jumped on the couch with my knees, one of them went into the side of the couch and something cut my knee. We think it was a penny, but we don’t know.
